
Bryan Herdt has been a long-term care insurance specialist for nearly 11 years. He began his insurance career in 1998 with GE Capital Assurance and completed his certification as a Senior Advisor in 2003. He has worked in many aspects of the industry including field sales, agent training, recruiting and served as an executive with one of the largest long-term care insurance carriers in the country.
Bill began
his insurance career in 1987 with Allen Insurance in Rawlins, Wyoming, as
director of sales for the benefits department which included life, health, long
term care, disability income and Medicare products. In 1989 after completing his multi-line
licensing he became vice president and co-owner of the agency and remained
director of the benefits department as well as provided personal and commercial
insurance to their clients. In 1994 Bill
purchased the agency becoming president.
He continued as an all lines producer maintaining his direct oversight
of the benefits department as well as the staff and operations of three office
locations. In 2004 Bill sold the agency
and relocated to Tucson, AZ, with Jeannie, his wife of 37 years.In Tucson he
joined The Mahoney Group, a large multi-lines insurance agency, as an executive
manager in charge of sales and operations of five offices with 65 employees in
Arizona and New Mexico. His expertise in
the insurance field was useful in coordinating service and production staff in
commercial lines, personal lines and the benefits department which involved
training, customer satisfaction, new business sales objectives and ensuring
proficiency in automation, insurance coverage’s and carrier guidelines.
In 2008 Bill
formed TMJB, Inc. an independent insurance agency with the emphasis on
providing personal and business asset protection for individuals and business
owners as well as employee benefit programs with access to a wide range of
products with many of the nation’s leading companies.
In 2010 Bill
has teamed up with LTCi Consulting LLC to assist their clients and
members.
Bill and
Jeannie have a daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Casa Grande, Arizona, and a
daughter and son-in-law in Broomfield, Colorado. Bill is involved in Rotary as well as being
an active member of SCORE.
